I have an ATI card and in XP I could use their SMARTGART software to reduce my AGP bus speed from 8x to 4x, because I had stablility problems. But for some reason the ATI 7.1 vista drivers do not have that feature. Something about Vista controlling the AGP bus. And I can't change the bus speed in my BIOS either because it says AUTO which is faded out and I can't select it. So is there any way or program I can use to change it. I tried ATITOOL and RIVATUNER but they don't work.
