    Hi there

I just got a smart tv and have it set up sort of in a cupboard as its best way to fit in my room. However it does not connect well to my home wifi which is set up in the lounge (about 6-7m way). I was wondering if I put a wifi extender in my room, would the tv pick up the wifi. If I put the tv elsewhere in my room its fine but I really want to make it work in the cupboard space.

    First Name:
an extender may work - just depends on how much the cabinet is blocking

you could use powerline adapters - one would plug into a mains socket near the router and the other near the TV
(some do not like extension leads, so have a look at the units called passthrough, as you can plug something then into the powerline adapter itself
it then uses the house electrical circuit to transfer

Maplin are doing quite a few offers at the moment
richer sounds often have good units with passthrough
