 hey i don't know if anybody knows something called smiley central well it's add ons for ur email little movable faces.
It works fine on mine except sometimes it shows that window thingy where it says u have preformed a illegal application **** and then a internal problem u must close the page u are using comes on and it shuts on me while writing a email, i keep having to save them now every time i write a paragraph.

Anyways, if u can tell me that problem it'll be great, but the smiley thing is the problem i click on the smileys and the first time i clicked on them ever they would all move and do their thing and sometimes some of them only SOME still move then stop and i was just wondering why it's doing that and how can i fix that like i tried refreshing the smiles but i can't, they should always be moving when i choose to click on them , because other wise i wouldn't know what each one does.

The program is known for several things, such as insisting on constantly "phoning home" and also reported as a resource hog.

If you are light on resources, then that may be your problem. The program loads at start-up and will probably be a constant drain.

I also hope you read the EULA before you clicked on "accept" when you installed it. Frankly I would not entertain the idea of installing a program that gave any company those rights (not quite true I guess, Microsoft almost are the same) over your PC.

I also suspect its going to be hard to remove completely. Many e-mail clients these days strip HTML code out (for security, to help prevent some types of viruses spreading) in which case your "smileys" never make it to the other end anyway.

I would suggest you scan with AdAware 6.181 ..available from: http://lavasoft.element5.com/support/download/
If you have used AdAware before...please uninstall all old versions before you install Build 181. Update the Reference file, using "Check for Updates". Then run a scan, and post the log file here.
    Thank you

p.s. More information on AdAware can be found Here

    First Name:

Installing emoticons from "Smiley Central" will load your computer with spyware and add additional entries to the Add/Remove Programs list and the C:\Program Files folder.

Download and install both Ad-aware 6.0.181 and Spybot - Search & Destroy 1.2. Once they're installed, use their update function to update them. Once that's done, run Spybot first, delete all entries highlighted in red that it finds, reboot your computer, run Ad-aware second, then delete all entries that it finds.

If you have questions about how to update and run them, go to my site and read the article about spyware, which is posted near the bottom of the list.
