    Hello,
I use a MacBook Pro with an additional monitor, mouse and keyboard. I love this setup till I need to take my MacBook out. I end up having to take out a million wires before I can take out my *portable*MacBook.

I would be very greatful if you would be able to recomend a product that would be able to convert mini display port and USB ports in to 1 wire that I can easily take in and out of my Mac.

    Thanks.

Isn't a Bluetooth mouse and keyboard a more practical option?

I know it's possible to carry USB and Display Port on one cable, just not sure I've seen one yet.

What is your exact model MacBook?
I believe you have to have Display Port V1.2 to just have the option of that working.
