Ok I took the plunge and upgraded to IE7. HATE IT! where is the OE link on my toolbar or task bar or whatever that is? Now I am forced to go to my desktop to access OE whereas with IE6 there was the little envelop icon up top there that was my OE link. If I dont get a clear answer on this I am just going back to IE no matter what the risk as far as critical updates I just cannot STAND IE7 .For me IE6 was simple it was a clean look and simple use this IE7 is stupid, makes no sense it was just done to compete and from what I have heard from bigger geeks than I is, Microssoft is years late and about a million dollars too short (to corrupt the old cliche) with IE7,ok This is just IMHO but its how I feel abouti t. So can someone help me I even tried to see if I could put OE as a favorites but cannot do THAT either. save IE7's life on my puter (if u care, about IE7 cos I don't) I just want to return to the times of old and easier. thanks y'all (y) bad

After upgrading to Internet Explorer 7.0, I was surprised to see that Outlook Express remained at version 6.0 SP2 and didn't also upgrade to 7.0.

I also miss the link to Outlook Express in the Tools menu, but it's no big deal.

Right click on the task bar, choose customize command bar/ add remove commands. You can add a read mail command. After you add it, if you don't see it,on the fer right of the tool bar, you see a double arrow. Click it to expand, then you see your mail command. If you again right click, and unlock the toolbar, you can move things around so it will always be visible without expanding.

With IE7, two things have changed.

Previously, Outlook Express was part of Internet Explorer. That is no longer the case. IE is a separate program. Outlook Express is going away and will be incorporated with another program (most likely the replacement for MSN Messenger, Live something).

hmm very interesting, I hate MSN more than IE lol because of their allowing the intrusive program of messenger. even tho i really liked the convienience of the way I used to use OE. I will have NOTHING zero bupkiss to do with MSN (y) bad
