i am tryin to install my epson perfection 1240u scanner which used to run on ME now i am on XP pro i have tried to install the smart panel to use the feautures on the scanner and it comes up with the message C:\windows\system32\autoexec.nt. the system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows aplications. i need to be able to get this system to accept the programme (which is non downloadable from epson.com) any ideas on how i can do this. the help file is no help as usual.
