I need to run the IBM Rapid Restore Feature, but I do not receive the prompt to press F11 to begin the process. My computer became infected with multiple viruses.

My laptop has no floppy disk drive.

    I have no docking station.

I have searched IBM's web site, but found no solution.

I have gone into setup / the bios, but cannot find a place to enable the F11 prompt. I have restored the bios defaults
    [ F9 ].

I have tapped the F11 key approx 1x per second, during boot, but that doesn't work.

I have held the F11 key down during boot; again, no success.

I called IBM. They no longer have available the recovery CD. I searched the internet for a recovery CD, & found none.

    Your advice is appreciated.
