I installed easeus partition master to handle a 3TB sata drive for storage. Could not use more than 2TB. I was told you have to upgrade to 64bit to handle larger drives. Installed windows XP Pro 64bit, still only see 2TB. WHY!! My motherboard and processor can handle 64bit according to the answers on a previous post.

    Computer
    XP Pro x64
    E4700 @ 2.6
    2.60 GHz 8.0 GB RAM
    Intel D975XBX2

for XP PRO 64 bit to recognize anything above a 2 terrabyte hard drive
the partions must be changed from MBR to GPT.

I have never tried to use GPT because I only needed a 500gb
hard drive sofar-- (I just use it for storage)
to change MBR to GPT U must reformat the hardrive & choose
GPT when It asks which format to use " MBR or GPT "
when U try to install the O/S again-----

I'll leave it to the people who know a lot more about GPT to give
U the fine details from here on
