I bought a new Dell computer XPS 9100 10/2010. It has actually been sitting in its box unused up until today. I finally took it out of the box and set it up. I knew there would be a lot of updates and there is 92 to start with. It didn't give me the options to update a few at a time. So the question is...if I let the machine update all 92 will it be OK at the end or will Windows have a heart attack and crash?

Yes, I would let it do the 92 updates all at once. Once those are done, there are a dozen more I think.

They will not all get installed. Since the default is to download and install, it is going to be a few reboots to get them all.

I would not try and install any new programs until all updates are in place.
