I've been using Microsoft Mobile Mouse (models 4000,5000 and 6000) and ALL have lost their either right or left click in the first couple of mos.

Microsoft keeps exchanging them but the problem persists.

Anyone have a suggestion for a wireless mouse that actually will still be alive in 8 or 9 months?

    Thanks,

    Paul

Sure sounds like you're hard on your mice.

Have you tried other brands like Logitech?

I have 4 MS Mobile mice, the newest one is over 3 years old, the oldest is about 6 years old. I have yet to have a failure. I also have a Logitec Wireless Notebook mouse that is more than 7 years old and still working as well as the day I bought it. Are you using your mice in a gaming environment? If so it is likely they do get rougher use than a mouse used for general computing. I would look at a some of the wireless gaming mice. They will cost a considerably more but should last longer.
