I was wondering if anyone else has had my experience. After installing the software it promptly replaced my homepage with msn.com. As I am not THAT computer literate yet it took awhile to get my selected page back. Just curious if mine was an isolated case

Every microsoft product that i've used has a section in the installation that says 'Install MSN Toolbar', 'Make MSN My Homepage', and 'Make MSN My Default Search'. If you didn't uncheck these, it will have changed your homepage among other things. It's a major annoyance to me, although easy to ignore.

Thanks Big-K! I've never had the finances to buy a Microsoft product so this was my first installation. Must have blown right thru the options. Good to know for the future. Who knows - some money might fall from the sky someday

I've never bought an ms product other than an OS or Office(not mine actually) before, but products like MSN Messenger also do it.
