i have installed Linux Mint 14 Cinnamon along side Mac OS X 10.8.2, the problem I'm having is a permission issue, i can't access some of my OS X files, the folders have an X on them and Linux says i don't have permission to access them, how do i set permissions so i can access the files on both OSes without having to reboot and copy the files to the shared partition i created and then boot back into Linux, or is there even a way i can set permissions? maybe in OS X?
