This may be the most simplistic question, but I will ask it nonetheless. I have a spreadsheet with various numbers in cells representing fares. I want to raise fares across the board by one or two dollars. Rather than manually reenter new values, is there a way to automate the process?

    Thanks,
    george

Yes it can be done with VBA, we would need to know the locations of the cells to update though.

You can also do this with native functions.

Say you have values in A1:A10. Enter the "increase value" in a free cell and copy it. Then select the range of values & do Edit > Paste Special >Add > OK.
