    Hello --

    I have a weird little issue and was wondering if there is a way to do this. When you go into My Computer and set the view to details, there will be a name, type, total size, free space, and comments bar (thats if the comments bar is checked).

    Is there any way to add a comment to your C drive or a network shared drive?

    Thanks,
    E

    Okay, seems like I found the solution. Whenever you map to a network drive and want a comment field next to it, you have to create a desktop.ini doc in the folder that you are mapping too. In the desktop.ini doc you have to put this:

    [.ShellClassInfo]
    InfoTip=Testing comments section

    Of course, you can put anything where it says "Testing comments section"

    This should allow you to see a comment next to a network drive.

    Just thought I would share this with ppl on the forum. Marking this thread as solved.
