Windows XP Media Center 2005, SP2, with single HDD, SATA 1.

I would like to add a 2nd HDD for RAID 1, for data duplication [ backup purposes ].

If I add a 2nd HDD & RAID controller card, how do I transfer the existing data on the original HDD to the new HDD?

As you can tell, I am very new at this task.

    Thanks for your help.

Your link does not answer my question. But it led me to step12, which does answer my question.
"Create and duplicate preserves data on the source disk (the first disk that was selected) and copies it to the mirror disk (the second disk that was selected) when the mirror array is created."

    Thanks.
