Operating system Windows XP. It won't install the latest updates for Adobe Flash Player because:

Required file could not be written due to insufficient permissions
    C:Windows\system32\macromed\flash\flashplayerupdateservice.exe5

I am the administrator and only user.

    Please help, thanks!

The file path is correct, except for the 5 at the end - which shouldn't be there.

    What version is currently installed?

What version are you trying to update to?

What site are you obtaining it from?
