I just recently finished a build and have been working on getting Win7 up and running on it. After installing the OS everything seems to be working fine. Then, after installing updates and or mobo drivers, I can't get past the "starting windows" page with the glowing window. This is my third time reinstalling the OS. I've tried various orders of driver/update installation. For instance: installing the mobo drivers before Win7 updates and vice versa.

Then, after doing any of those, I restart the machine sometimes it hangs and sometimes it will boot fully. But inevitably, when it's time to reboot again to complete driver/update installation it will hang again. Then when I follow the steps to repair the OS, it fails and then I'm sent into a loop of that.

Note: I thought that maybe there was an issue with the RAM/GPU but I did a ramcheck that didn't come up with any errors and I have removed my discrete card for now. Also, I had tweeked a couple things in the BIOS (fan settings, and changing SATA to ACHI) but I set everything back to default and it hasn't seemed to help either.

    My system is:

    Biostar TZ77XE3
    Samsung 120 GB SSD

Any help would be excellent, as I'm getting tired of trying to just reinstall.
