Does anyone know of any free alternatives to adobe reader which can open pdf files?

Mine has become corrupt after uninstalling version 7 and when I try and install version 7 or 8 it keeps saying that the installer packege can't be found and check if it is there, well it is!

Ummm....Adobe Reader is free. There are tons of free reader/writers and a google search will find a lot of them.

True ... You have to pay extra to have the "Edited with Foxit" red stamp removed.
But this is something Adobe reader cant do.
Foxit even works better that Acrobat for typing over purposes only ... for a whole lot less
