Gemini joypad 9.7
Do you mean Gemini Joytab?

You need to insert the micro sd card in the slot. Is it clicked into place?

The newest versions of Android do not allow you to move apps to a card. What version is on your tablet?

The only thing I can find in the manual is on p 11 of the 18 page manual. It says
Available storage can be expanded using a Micro SD card of up to 32GB in
capacity.
You can't store apps externally on other devices.
If you want an app off, remove it.

You can use the sd card for storage, just not apps. I have movies on mine. I am also offered the option to store pictures on it when I fire up the camera.
