I have searched and have found a few postings about this, but none of them have been answered all the way.

    Problem:
My computers page file keeps increasing even though I have set it to NOT exceed a specific amount.

Set Size: 768 MB Current size: 1.22 GB

Yes I clicked SET and APPLY when I set the size.

    System Info:

    Windows XP Pro. SP3

    Intel Pentium III 1.2GHz (900MHz - 2.2GHz settings range)

    512 MB RAM (Maxed out)

    40 Gig HD

Have you tried the System Managed option?

Well... that would be fine, but I want to control it. Also it seems to be managing it anyway. Even though I set the size I wanted. All this thing is used for is to play video stored on my server.

Unfortunately, the 512Mb you have is barely enough to run Windows these days. Try letting the system run the VM and if that doesn't suit you, double that 512 at least - it will make all the difference.
