Need to help to install an antivirus software on my PC. I only get an error message saying there is already another antivirus in the computer, which I have uninstalled already.

    Any Help ?

Which anti-virus software were you using before that you uninstalled and which one are you now trying to install?

    Thanks for your response !

But I solved this problem from another forum. I never knew that some program is hidden from the list of installed programs.

    Thanks again !

Can you share the solution please because an antivirus program should not be hidden from the list of installed programs.

That maybe the "rule". But in my case it was hidden. I mean there was no name of "Panda Seurity" or similar name in the list of installed software. Control Panel > Uninstall a program. There was no desktop shortcuts or any link in the start menu.

But there was some folder named "Panda.... " in C: Drive in the folder User > App. Data > Roaming. I figure this out after someone told me to do manual cleanup. I search the whole C drive ( through search box )

I had used the some uninstaller like panda uninstaller and revo, but they could not uninstall it. Deleting Manually was the only option !

I don't know much about that program. I deleted that immediately. Maybe it was the residue of the antivirus of was automatically installed when installing some other softwares !

Yes and this is quite common. It's not hidden, it's just that you already uninstalled most of its components so it will no longer appear in the programs list. In other words, it became broken with some parts remaining that still needed to removed.

I am not good in this kind of tech stuff. So I never knew that there might be missing parts in other locations of the drive, which has to be deleted manually. As I alreadt said I have tried a " new panda uninstaller" and Revo, both of them failed to delete

Anyway thanks a lot for your help ! Really appreciate that !
