This can be done via "Add/Remove Programs" in the Microsoft Windows "Control Panel". If you are in doubt about removing older versions of Sun Java then please contact the vendor for assistance.

Vulnerabilities Fixed: ... when I go to the link to Macromedia flash it goes to the Adobe flash which I've already done and the sun java has also been updated so what is causing the problem?

Delete this file then install flash again.
    C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\Macromed\Flash\Flash.ocx

Your Java is out of date. Older versions have vulnerabilities that malware can use to infect your system. Please follow these steps to remove older version Java components and update.

    Updating Java:
    • Please go to the Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 6.0 download site.
    • Scroll down to where it says "The J2SE Runtime Environment (JRE) allows end-users to run Java applications".
    • Click the "Download" button to the right.
    • Check the box that says: "Accept License Agreement".
    • The page will refresh.
    • Under Windows Platform click on the Windows Offline Installation (with or without Multi-language) and save to your desktop.
    • Close any programs you may have running - especially your web browser.
    • Go to Start > Run. Enter appwiz.cpl then hit enter.
    • Look for any items with Java Runtime Environment (JRE or J2SE) in the name.
    • Click on the Remove or Change/Remove button.
    • Repeat as many times as necessary to remove each of the Java versions. <<Important!
    • Reboot your computer once all Java components are removed.
    • Then from your desktop double-click on the download to install the newest version.

    ===
After you follow the java instruction do this:

    Please download HijackThis
    1. Save the file to your desktop then open it.
    2. Follow the steps through the wizard. When given the option to Create a desktop icon please do so.
    3. When the installation finishes make sure Launch Hijackthis is checked then click Finished
    4. Click on "Open the Misc Tools section".
    5. Click on "Open Uninstall Manager"
    6. Click on "Save list..."
    7. Save it to the desktop then post it here.

I would try using that uninstall file for Flash again and reinstall Flash. I have had this problem at least 3 times over the last 6 months. I do not know why Flash randomly stops working. The last install I did has been working for 2 months now.
