I am having touble with my AOL Insatant Messenger, I have it set to LAN, and I don't have the right firewall information on it, but it still isn't working. All of the antivirus programs I ahve on the comp allow messaging, so I am at a loss here. Nothing on there website has helped either.

Are you saying it won't connect? Are you using a proxy?

Go into Preferences - Sign On/Off
    Click on the "Connection" button

    Either try hitting "Auto-configure"

Or change the host to login.oscar.aol.com
    Make the port 5190

I did auto configure, it changed the port to 187, instead of 5190. and it owrked. I don't know how, or why, but it worked this time.
