installed a program dvd identifier & now autorun feature doesn't work 4 my drives, so uninstalled it, feature still doesn't work. tried system restore 5 different dates, computer won't restore to a previous date! ran a hijackthis, looks clean, ran malwarebytes & it came up clean, so every time i insert a cd or dvd into either drive, a windows folder opens with the subfolders now ugh. more inconvenient than anything, so how can i get autorun back or at least, windows to stop opening a folder when a disc is inserted??? have tried clicking properties & ck'ing/unck'ing all the features in autoplay & restoring defaults, no joy. even dl'd windows autofix but that didn't help either. google is full of trix, but nothing has worked. Thx 4 any suggestions!!! (y)
