We have a Windows 7 (32 bit) Home Premium machine that the desktop background DID change as designed. Then the other day, it just stop changing. And we do NOT have the "Next desktop background" when the desktop is "right clicked".

I search the internet and found a few hints but none of them have worked.

I suppose one of those hints was to add or delete one of the pictures and 'Save changes' again?

DaveA, have you tried applying a different theme, then re-applying the theme in question?

We have tried all of these and more, nothing seems to help.
We even change monitors and that did not help.

This option will not appear unless the theme has more than one wallpaper/background.

My current theme only has one background so as you can see that option is not available.(see attachment)

We have several images checked and do not have the "Next background" option and the slide show does NOT work. It stays at the selected image.

Ok, now that this SFC has run and I now have a 8,464 KB CBS.log file, what do I do with this?

Now just Restart your pc and check to see if that "Next Background" option is available.

Had to add a graphics card and the onboard was acting up. The tech shop said that it is a know issue with some of the earlier onboard graphics devices and Windows 7.
The new card and a clean install of Windows 7 cleared things up.

Machine is still under warranty, so the card and labor was no cost fix.
