    Hi,
Depending how many there are, the simple way is to copy (not cut) to a separate external hard drive. You can get external hard drives up to 1tb capacity. To be extra safe, buy two external hard drives and make two back ups, and store the 2nd off site (family or friend).

You could save to cloud storage but a good service and sufficient space may cost, plus who are you trusting with your photos?

    Richard.

There are many ways in which you have save a backup of your photos:-
    1) save them in a cd or a dvd
2)save them in any external hard disk drive
    3)save them in pendrives
4)save them in your cloud storage provided by many websites like google drive , dropbox, yahoo etc.

If you are using Windows 7, click the start button/orb and in the right pane is Computer. Right click on that and select "show on desktop".

Do you have a program to burn data CDs on your computer?
