When I was trying to update one of my programs recently (I don't remember which one.), I got an error message stating that the operation could not be completed due to "bad checksum." I tried it later and it worked. Does anyone know what "bad checksum" means?
Thanks.

It just means that the download site was overloaded at the time. Depending which program it was (this happens often with Spybot S & D), there may be other mirror sites that are not so busy that will work.
