Hi, I just bought a new Belkin N750 USB wireless adapter today to replace my old cisco USB adapter well I install the drivers and software that came with it and everything loaded correctly and showed that there was connections available. I connected to one of the available connections and it connected but it says identifying the network well after a bit it says unidentified network and won't connect to the internet. Where I live we don't have access to the routers as the are controlled by the rental agency and I can't get access to them or the rental agency won't help out also. But anyways I can connect to the networks with my old usb adapter but not with the new one. My computer is Windows 7 64 bit and if anyone needs anymore information just let me know. So if anyone can help it would be great. Thanks.

Make sure you have the latest driver from Belkin's web site.

Please attach a screen shot of the Networks page (don't collapse the Radar, Connection or Signal History) of the Xirrus Wi-Fi Inspector. If you need help with that see TSG Posting a Screenshot. FWIW to take screen shots with Windows 8 or 7 or Vista I prefer to use the built-in Snipping Tool.

Identify the network to which you want to connect.

    Also show ...

Open a (black) Command Prompt window:
Hold the Windows logo key and press r; in the Run box type cmd and click on OK.

    Type the following command:

    IPCONFIG /ALL

[Note that there is no space between the slash and ALL.]

Right click in the command window and choose Select All, then hit Enter.
Paste the results in a message here.

If necessary use a text file and removable media to copy the results to a computer with internet access.

You may be having some trouble with conflicts between the two wireless adapters. Disable or uninstall the Linksys AE2500, restart, and try again.

Make sure you don't have any Linksys wireless utility running.

Are you using a Belkin wireless utility? If so, try without using it.

Well late last night I did a complete reinstall of windows 7 and just tried to install the Belkin adapter and it still wasn't working and I know what the problem is to be honest when I install the adapters my old adapter brought up a window that asks if I want the network to be home, work, or public but the new adapter doesn't bring that screen up so I called Belkin and after about 2 hours on the phone with them they end up telling me that the adapter is bad and I need to return it and get another one. So hopefully when I return it later the new one will work. Thanks for the help anyways. I appreciate it.
