I have a Belkin Router that is supposed to stand up, but it is so light weight that the Ethernet cords plugged into it pull it on its side. It seems to work okay that way, so I'm wondering if it can harm the router to leave it on its side?

    Thanks

No, it shouldn't have any effect on the operation of the router.

It will only possibly harm it if it gets very hot as a result of reduced cooling.
