    Hi,
I just downloaded the new demo of Delta Force Black Hawk Down from Novalogic. Everything is just fine...except......The buildings and weapons dont show up (invisible!!).

I have the latest drivers and could play the other multiplayer game just fine.

    Any suggestions?

    HI sdp

My only thought for now is, well, it's a demo. And the full retail game hasn't been released.
Lottsa demos are sub-par compared to the actual release, and there most likely won't be a heckuva lot of support for a demo, at least online.

    Having said that,
I'd suggest emailing tech support at Novalogic because they might listen to you now. Feedback is often useful to game sellers so that they can correct common problems before the release, and IMHO, demos are one way to get information from folks that are not being paid to test the game. (I notice that in the credits of many games, testers are listed...well I could live with that as retirement option! :D )

I say this, too, because one of the times I've had a demo go bad I emailed the company and got a response within a day or two....and gave me the info I needed...
...and I have puchased a game and had problems that were not addressed by patches, updates, etc online and gotten no response from my emails. (Again, I'd say say it depends on the publisher/creator/company)

So, was this of any help or was I just venting??

    Thanks,
Well i found a "patch" of sorts at Devilsclaws.net and it added color but still no weapons or buildings.
You are suppossed to download the fix and run the game through it. You open it and select the type of game you want to play and it then starts the game.

    Edit.....

Ok, ive uninstalled everything (driver, and both programs), and reinstalled. Now when i start the game it looks for my video capabilities and tells me that my card doesnt fully support DX 8. This wasnt a problem before, and i have DX 9 installed now.

Ok so my video card is just a tnt2 32 meg, but it worked fine with the first demo.

    Hi Shawn

    What does dxdiag tell you?

Start>Run type "dxdiag", click the dispplay tab.
