Sorry folks! I already entered this problem once but didn't use the correct heading so here goes again. My computer is a Windows ME & 6 years old. There are times when I turn the computer on & I get only a blue screen & have to restart or it boots up only partially with only some of the icons & I have to restart. Is my computer headed for a breakdown or what else could the problem be? Thank You!!

Hi blue screens normally linked to..faulty Ram..overheating..etc.
Check for overheating..How much Ram do you have installed?
Can you read the blue screen error?

Or possibly corrupted operating system files.

    Simple things to try are:
Can you boot to safe mode?
Can you reinstall on top of your current version. This should not erase any files and may fix the problem.
