    Hello,

please can you advise me, I don't know what to do. I'm getting blue screens and it's made my pc unreliable. Apart from the blue screens it's splendid. Is there anything obvious I'm missing? I've downloaded TSGSysInfo, here's what it says:

Tech Support Guy System Info Utility version 1.0.0.2
OS Version: Microsoft Windows 7 Professional, Service Pack 1, 64 bit
    Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4770 CPU @ 3.40GHz, Intel64 Family 6 Model 60 Stepping 3
    Processor Count: 8
    RAM: 16262 Mb
Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce GT 640, -2048 Mb
    Hard Drives: C: Total - 1907499 MB, Free - 1725791 MB;
Motherboard: Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd., H87M-HD3
Antivirus: Microsoft Security Essentials, Updated and Enabled

Some notes just in case they're relevant - I know Nvidia is having trouble updating, some component always fails. And it says when i go to look for updates that it can't connect.

Thank you, any help would be much appreciated...

what are you using for a Internet connection? ???
it says your not using any kind of firewall /// anti-virus.
if U are running broad band U need a paid program
    like McAfee or Norton.
AVG is a good free anti-virus program also
run Malwarebytes ,, has a 14 day trial on download..

But to your problem - we need a screen shot of the blue
    screen of death.
it says what caused your computer to crash...
I know it's possible just not what buttons to push
to get screen shot to run after the blue screen shows
    up.....
    sorry

According to the system info utility it has

and I cannot see any reason to suspect that Windows firewall is not running
Also I must disagree - there is absolutely no reason to connect the use of broadband with the need for a paid antivirus

    veee

The screenshot of your dump will not be a great help what I need is the dump file to analyse it with Windbg - a dump analysis program
Please do not install McAfee Norton or AVG - or anything else at this stage, until I have the dump file and have replied with the analysis

first I did mention that AVG is a free program if he doesn't want to pay for a anti-virus / firewall program----
I have never heard anything good about Microsoft Defender----
a good ant-virus // firewall program stops suspicious programs from trying to get in from the web & stops programs
from sending out suspicious activity if they are already on your computer---
I went ahead & paid the 20$ for the full version of Malwarebytes so it will run all the time in the
back ground----it gets a work out---
my family runs Facebook as well as twitter//// playing Facebook games with their friends---
Malwarebyts is always putting up pop-ups about this or that from Facebook---
I have Comcast broadband with their medium tier speed----knock on wood I have never had a virus---
just a few little maleware programs that tried to suggest stuff to buy when your surfing the web---
Malewarebyts had a field day when I first found the program from a friend---no more annoying
pop ups trying to suggest stuff to buy
I know this is off subject so will stop now--

Hello, thank you everyone for engaging with this. It has blue screened since the beginning... I do indeed have Microsoft Security Essentials and it says that it's updated and system protected. I did also download TFC and got rid of all temporary files ( don't even know if this is relevant ). I have also a doc with loads of the blue screen info on it, before I stopped doing it because it was crashing so regularly, if you want it no problem. The minidump - I couldn't upload it in one as it was too big so have split it into two I hope that's ok.
    Appreciate your time.

Those two zipped folders contain the same dump files
More to the point they are all from 2014

Do you have a more recent dumpfile
and check the date on the clock - if you thought those were 2015 dumps

for information a small part of ONE of the dumps

At this stage I tend to suspect ram - not faulty ram but simply that you have two sticks of 8GB each, you have four ram slots and two are empty
Try running with ONLY one stick of ram and see what happens

I am reasonably certain you do not intend to, but PLEASE do not change the MSE for Norton, McAfee or AVG and please do not install any software while I am working with you.

I'm sorry Macboatmaster. I can't see another minidump folder? The computer clock says the right date. I was wrong about Nvidia. The update that keeps failing is Intel Corporation - Graphics Adapter WDDM1.1, Graphics Adapter WDDM1.2, Graphics Adapter WDDM1.3- Intel(R) HD Graphics 4600.

Further to the above I have looked at another dump. It again is a general memory error, this time when flash player was running
    The ram is Corsair
    (CMX8GX3M1A1333C9)

As I said try with one stick

Not another folder there is ONLY one minidump folder - is there in the folder a more recent dump file than 2014 -

The dump analysis said you had four ram slots, but I think looking at the motherboard you only have the two

Forget the failure of the update for the time being please#
RUN with the one ram stick

I don't know what happened to the reply I posted yesterday. Please find new file attached. How do I go down to one stick? Can I do this myself?
