Hey guys, seems ill never have a computer that works fine...

I was planning to make a Ubuntu server for my web work im doing to cut down my hosting bill so I plugged in an IDE hardrive i have with the installer cd. I started it up and got this error "Reboot and Select propere Boot Device...". 'no matter' i thought, so i plugged in my old drive.... got the same message ?! Did abit of research and found it could be my MBR so i unplugged all my drive except CD and ran the windows disk... same problem. I unplugged everything bar my original boot drive and still got the same probm !?

Any ideas or sould i run down and buy about a gallon of gasoline and have a 3k bbq 2nite :D
