I bought Broken Sword 3-PCCD-ROM and when I put disc 1 in the laptop it just makes a whirring noise until I eject the disc and doesnt do anything else. I know laptops arent great for playing games and theres every chance my video card isn't upto playing it, but when I've tried installing games before, they install no problem just refuse to play. Im not even getting that far, I've gone into my computer and tried installing it from there and still nothing happens, and comes up with E:\ the device is not ready. I've bin on other forums trying to find an answer, and theres a few that have mentioned the same problem, but all the posts are very old(like 2-3 years) with no helpful answers. apparantly theres a 'no cd' crack to download, but thats for use when it has actually installed, wish I could get that far. If any1 could give me any help it would be greatly appreciated

First, we need your computer data (e.g. your processor, graphics card, ram, etc.).
Second, we need your dxdiag data (Start -> Run... -> dxdiag -> Save All Information...).
Third, try updating your drivers for your graphics card and cd-rom drive, it could be the source of the problem.
Fourth, try booting into safe mode (press f8 at startup and select safe mode) and install from there.
