I have the same problem as is described in this thread.

I followed all the steps in that explanation and just want a clean bill of health, or further instructions if I've still got problems. =)

I've attached all the logs I acquired in that time. The order they were acquired is the same order as presented in the other thread. I ran ComboFix three times, even though I didn't have problems with it, the log included is the most recent.

So, the final order is... VundoFix, SuperAntiSpyware, WinPFind3u, ComboFix, and then the most recent HijackThis log. =)

Hmm, the WinPFind3u log is too large for the forum. =/ I dunno what to do about that, so I didn't include it. Thanks in advance for the help. =)

    Hi Welcome to TSG!!

Run HJT again and put a check in the following:

    R3 - URLSearchHook: Yahoo! Toolbar - {EF99BD32-C1FB-11D2-892F-0090271D4F88} - (no file)
    O2 - BHO: 0 - {4154220E-C58E-4052-BF9E-9D36B4679163} - C:\Program Files\WindowsUpdate\lavugab.dll (file missing)
    O2 - BHO: (no name) - {7E853D72-626A-48EC-A868-BA8D5E23E045} - (no file)
    O2 - BHO: (no name) - {AA58ED58-01DD-4d91-8333-CF10577473F7} - (no file)
    O2 - BHO: (no name) - {D80C4E21-C346-4E21-8E64-20746AA20AEB} - (no file)
    O3 - Toolbar: (no name) - {2318C2B1-4965-11d4-9B18-009027A5CD4F} - (no file)

Close all applications and browser windows before you click "fix checked".

Please download the OTMoveIt by OldTimer.
    • Save it to your desktop.
    • Please double-click OTMoveIt.exe to run it.
    • Copy the file paths below to the clipboard by highlighting ALL of them and pressing CTRL + C (or, after highlighting, right-click and choose copy):

      C:\WINDOWS\system32\kltxkifb.dll
      C:\WINDOWS\system32\eoqslqt.dll
      C:\WINDOWS\system32\S10
      C:\WINDOWS\System32\mljji.dll

    • Return to OTMoveIt, right click on the "Paste List of Files/Folders to be moved" window and choose Paste.
    • Click the red Moveit! button.
    • Close OTMoveIt
If a file or folder cannot be moved immediately you may be asked to reboot the machine to finish the move process. If you are asked to reboot the machine choose Yes.

Post a new hijackthis log and let me know if you still have problems.

The issues actually stopped right around using ComboFix the first time around. =P
But, you know, just cuz stuff seems to be working right doesn't mean you're in the clear. =/

    Log looks fine!

I would strongly suggest you get SP2.

You can remove all of the tools I requested you to download and/or folders associated with them now. It is pointless to keep these tools around as they are updated so frequently that the tools can be outdated within a few days, sometimes within just hours.

OTMoveIt by OldTimer has a CleanUp! option you can use to remove most of the fixes and associated files and folders if you want to use that. If you get a warning from your firewall or other security programs regarding OTMoveIt attempting to contact the internet you should allow it to do so. Also remove OTMoveIt.

SUPERAntiSpyware is a trial version so you can keep that until the trial is over and then uninstall.
