    We have just signed up for call waiting from BT. We tested to see if it worked by ringing our house phone from my mobile phone. This didn't work, is there anything in my computer which I need to access or turn on or off or some softwhere which I need to download?

    Thanx In Advance

    BT = British Telecom

    It is a company in england where you get your phone line and that from.

    Sorry I didn't realise!

    Is it something wrong with the computer or the phone company?

    Is this posted in the correct place?

    what do you mean by phone lines?

    do you mean where you plug in your phone to the wall because we have 2 but 1 doesnt work. My internet and phone cable are both plugged into this splitter thing which is plugged into the wall.

    yep I am using Win 98

    It rings then says it is trying to connect you and the person knows you are waiting.
