Solved: Can I get help with my Hijack This File

    My browswer has been taken over. I have tried NAV, Spybot and still the same problem. The home page keeps changing to: "about:blank"

    Print this and boot to safe mode

    Open cwshredder.exe then click "Fix" and let it run.

    View Hidden Files
    Open Windows Explorer. Go to Tools, Folder Options and click on the View tab.
    Make sure that "Show hidden files and folders" is checked.
    Also uncheck "Hide protected operating system files".
    Now click "Apply to all folders", Click "Apply" then "OK"

    Delete these files

    START – RUN – key in %temp% - Edit – Select all – File – Delete
    Empty the recycle bin
    Boot and post a new log

    Those two files you said to delete were not found at all:

    Yes, i did that again. and about 30 mins later the home page change back to about:blank

    What am I doing wrong? Do i need to delete some folder or something?

    Ok i was finally able to connect to Housecall online virus checker and it found and removed a few things. My PC seems clean now. I have run Cwshredder and HJT and things look ok.
