I recently upgraded from W98 to W2K. W98 is still on a separate partition and operational. I have some 25-30 tasks defined in Windows Task Scheduler. I have 2 questions:

    1) Can I somehow port those tasks from W98 to W2K?

    2) Can I somehow back up the tasks in the W2K Task Scheduler?

It looks like a fantastic product for $50, but all I am needing to do is to backup Windows Task Scheduler. Are there some file(s) that I can save elsewhere to protect my tasks?

Sure you can. Make copies of the folder c:\windows\tasks\*.*

They can be put right in in the new system or just coppied to the command line in XP's or win2000's scheduler.

As long as the programs in the taskscheduler are in the right area. The links in c:\windows\tasks\ will work fine on any machine.

Thanks for asking this as a lot of people are unaware they can make a series of tweak scripts, macros, or whatnot and use this to automatically run them at a clients house while they get their bags packed to go home.
