I realised the vista computer (remote) cannot find any partner computer although it is connected to the network. All my other xp computers can connect to each other except vista. How do I make it to connect so it belongs to the network? At the moment it is connected (internet working fine) but not sharing
Inside "Network" there are no other computer folders thus cannot find printer when I entered the path from ur method
I tried:
"To manually add a wireless computer running Windows Vista
Log on to the computer.
Click the Start button , and then click Connect to.
Choose the wireless network from the list that appears, and then click Connect.
Type the network security key or passphrase if you are asked to do so, and then click OK.
You will see a confirmation message when you are connected to the network.
To confirm that you added the computer, do the following:
Click to open Network.
You should see icons for the computer you added and for the other computers and devices that are part of the network."
I cant see other icons (where my xp computer can)
