When I launch the control panel of my laptop (Windows XP, service pack 3) and get to the categories list, some links don't open and I get error message that says 'Run a DLL as an App has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience'.Please how can I solve this problem?

    Hi papafavour,

Go to C:\WINDOWS\system32 and locate rundll32.exe. Rename it to rundll32.bak. Now try accessing the Control Panel icons and let me know if this helped you resolve the issue. All the best!
