    Hey Gang,

I'm trying to run Regedit. I type REGEDIT and I get an error message saying "Regedit is not a valid Win32 application"

It runs msconfig and sfc /scannow but not regedit. It did before. The only thing I have done differently is install more ram today.

    What's going on?

    Win XP SP2

Thanks for the help but that solution didn't work. In order to work I would have had to enter into REGEDIT and my original problem was that I couldn't enter into REGEDIT:confused:

However I did solve it. All I did was write REGEDIT.EXE.

Don't know why it worked but it did.

    Thanks,
    HULK!:D

I would still search for a hidden file called regedit.com if its on your system thats what is causing the error

I don't have a file called Regedit.com. I searched in hidden file too. Do I need one?
