I have about forty tracks (.mp 3 audio files) by a certain artist saved in a shortcut on my desktop, which I want to send to Media Monkey which is the program I use for all my music. But when I click on the desktop item, it only shows "Add to Windows Media Player List" and doesn't let me send it to MM instead. Is there any way I can add the option to send it to MM ? As well as that, the drag & drop facility does not work with these tracks either.

Have you tried by right clicking on the mp3 audio and select "open with" and select the program you want it to open with.

I have tried that as you suggested - each track then shows and plays in MM, but it seems that I would then have to transfer each of the forty-odd tracks individually, as they won't transfer as a whole. I just wondered whether there is a way to add MM to the drop down menu to let me send all the tracks in one go?

Further to my previous post - I decided to go through the tracks and transfer them individually using the "Open With" option, as you suggested. It took me a while, but glad to say they are all in an appropriate Playlist in MM, and playing perfectly! Many thanks for your help in suggesting this, and best regards. Will mark as "Solved" shortly.
