    hi all.

just noticed that im unable to switch user on my win xp pro machine.
the only option there is 'log off'.
Already checked services.msc and found Terminal services and Fast user switching to be 'started'.
Is there a way to get my 'switch user' option to work again?

    appreciate all your responses...

I don't believe there is an option in WinXP Pro for "switch user" I believe that is the option with WinXP Home. I could be wrong..

Are you just hitting the Start button? or when you goto Start>and hit Logoff the Switchuser option does not come up?

Your correct, our Fast User Switching has been turned off with a policy.

Are you on domain? Fast user switching is not available when your computer is joined to a domain.

How do you know it is disabled with a Policy? If you are the administrator of the computers then disable the policy.
