Running XP, Firefox 3.0.5, IE 6

This is odd...there is a website that I frequent, www.ipdb.org (Internet Pinball Database). It's not a daily sort of thing, but probably at least one a week. When I tried a few days ago I kept on getting the following error:

    "Page load error."
Though the site seems valid, the browser was unable to establish a connection.

    * Could the site be temporarily unavailable? Try again later.
    * Are you unable to browse other sites? Check the computer's network connection.
    * Is your computer or network protected by a firewall or proxy? Incorrect settings can interfere with Web browsing.

I figured the site was down. After a week, I figured I may have problems. Then, I tried from my iPhone - and bingo, I got in. I posted a similar note in a forum for my ISP, and others had no issues in getting to the site. So, it has to be an issue on my end (or so I suspect). I've tried it on other PCs on my home network, all with the same results. Any help would be appreciated.

    Here are my PING results:
    Microsoft Windows XP [Version 5.1.2600]

    C:\>ping ipdb.org

Pinging ipdb.org [75.148.165.45] with 32 bytes of data:

    Request timed out.
    Request timed out.

    Ping statistics for 75.148.165.45:
    Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 0, Lost = 4 (100% loss),

so you cannot access from any PC connected to your network - correct

Try to ping 75.148.165.45 - see if its a DNS issue

check the hosts file on your PCs
    - whats the Windows you have XP, Vista ?
    - check its not a restricted site in IE

It maybe you need to reset the router back to factory condition and then reset all the settings - do you know all these is it a DSL router
    OR
ADSL on a phone line - make and model

Not sure what this means ..
Looks like a local router address and maybe something to do with HP

can you post an ipconfig /all

    ipconfig /all

TWO Methods to do that - some people have problems with ONE----

    ONE ---------------------------------
    start
    run
    cmd
    ipconfig /all

    rightclick in the box
    select all
    enter
control key + C key - to copy
    then reply here and
control key + V to paste

    TWO -----------------------------------------------

Start, Run, CMD to open a DOS window and type:

    IPCONFIG /ALL >C:\RESULT.TXT

Open C:\RESULT.TXT with Notepad and copy/paste the entire results here.

The sysadmin at ipdb.org had been getting some corrupted IP packets, so he temporarily blocked me. He cleared it up and now I'm good to go.

    Sorry for the false alarm!!
