Logging in as administrator, from MyComputer/System Properties/User Profiles I found the profile but guess what? The option to delete is GREYED out! I tried highlighting the other accounts and the option to delete was not greyed out. Yikes! Is something preventing this account from being deleted??? Not sure what to do.
    Help!

Welcome to TSG! Which profile are you trying to delete, and which profiles can you delete?

There are 7 user profiles and of course the administrators. The one I'm actually trying to delete is mine. Of the 7 user profiles all but 2 have admin privs and are IT people however, only mine and the admin profile have the Delete button greyed out. Hope that makes sense.

After shutting the laptop down overnight, I was able to log in as administrator the next day and delete the profile no problem. I have to wonder if the problem was that I was logged in as me earlier and if that prevents that same profile from being deleted. I'm guessing, obviously.
