Go here and download and install Adobe Flash Player 9.0.45.0. This is a newly-released version to replace version 9.0.28.0.

Some websites require this program to be installed in order to properly view them, so it's considered one of the "must have" programs for your computer.

You can try and delete the ones you have downloaded

    or go here
    http://sdc.shockwave.com/shockwave/download/alternates/

use the uninstallers for both flash and shockwave players then reinstall both

Click Start - Search - All Files And Folders, select the hard drive C: to look in, type in

    *.ocx

then click Search. It'll display several .ocx files, including those for Adobe Flash Player, which are in the C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\MACROMED\FLASH folder. (y)
