I'm trying to open a pvs file in Adobe Reader and when I try I get the file could not open because it's not a supported file type or the file has been damaged:confused:.When I try to open in another program (Microsoft Word) I get a file conversion table that I can't make out one way or the other. Help!

The .PVS file name extension is used by a few different applications and as far as I can tell, they are not related to MS-Word or Adobe Acrobat.

What is the source of the file?

What I was trying to do was open the file that shows the pictures of a myelogram procedure I had done today. I was going by the date modified on my dvd drive file. Thanks for the help cwwozniak but the application file is where I needed to open. I am now able to open and see pictures. I'm sure I will be back again with how to open some files because I don't understand file formats or conversion tables. Thanks again.
