I have a very basic batch file to open 2 programs at once.

My question is, what command do I put in the batch, at the end, to close the DOS window that pops up to execute the commands?

    Currently I have:

    cd\
    "C:\Tapn Ireland\Website\WebSite\Httpd32.exe"
    "C:\Tapn Ireland\Website\Admin\bin\ibserver.exe"
    exit

This changes the drive to C: then runs the 2 program commands, and I want it to close the window afterwards.

I am running Win98SE, is that makes a difference.

    Any help greatfully appreciated.

    Hi,

    Make it

    cd\
    "C:\Tapn Ireland\Website\WebSite\Httpd32.exe"
    "C:\Tapn Ireland\Website\Admin\bin\ibserver.exe"
    cls

    Good luck,

    Hi Tony,

That clears the screen, but does not affect the actual pop up window that I would like to close.

    Thanx anyway.

I'm not a DOS specialist, but this ought to close the DOS window.

Rightclick your batch file, and go to the Program tab.

Is the "Close on exit" box ticked?

    That did it.

    Thanx Tony!
