I still only have 2 color settings,2 & 16, (see previous thread- Monitor Color Setting)
I've re-installed the drivers but it says the monitor drivers are not installed, even though when I install it goes thru. I've run the problem with the multi-media interface and it says to re-install driver, which I did and it seemed to install, yet it tells me I have the same problem! HELP!!
P.S. I'm new at this so any advice, please give DETAILED instructions! Thank You

I am not sure that this is a monitor issue, sounds more like your video card drivers are corrupted. If you have the voodoo 3dfx driver disk try inserting it and reinstalling the drivers.

Open up the program go to the display Icon open it and go to the PCI/AGP icon and open it - post what it says.

I don't have a clue as to what is wrong. I un-installed "Creative
Multi-media Interface" and the "PCI Standard Graphics Card" to no avail. The unit re-installed the graphics card. According to information that I know how to access, everything is supposed to be working fine.

I re-installed Windows, no help. I checked device manager and the voodoo card is listed as having all the drivers and working properly. Any suggestions? Nothing displays right with only 16 colors!

P.S. Don't have the voodoo inst disk, it was a hand-me-down. It worked fine untill I had to have the HD re-formatted. Had plenty of color settings.

It is probably a waste of time but I’ll repeat what others have said for two threads – you have to install video card drivers. Windows does not normally install them. If you don’t have the installation CD you will have to download them. Triple6 linked the best available source.

You people were right again. I thought I did install the drivers, but I didn't do something right. Anyway, I re-installed and now it works fine. Big pats on the back to all. Thank You!
