    Hi Guys,

I Have a Compaq Presario SR1000 and I ended up getting a virus on the machine. Now I cant boot in to windows or safemode, but I know the harddrive is partitioned.

I dont have the manual or boot disks for the computer anymore, does anyone know the command for these machines to access the partion?

    any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks

Look at this SR1000 series list from the HP/Compaq site, then advise us what the exact model number is.

Go into the Device Manager, then advise us of the description in the sub-menu of:

    Display Adapters

    Network Adapters

    Sound Video And Game Controllers
